Modern Craftsmanship
Using varying techniques, we at LPC have designed a foolproof process to create the best piano available. Period. Using modern craftsmanship, we are able to streamline our process and ensure that the piano you're buying will be the best piano you've ever owned.
New Piano. Vintage Case.
We take care to replace every part that is affected by climate, temperature, humidity and use. This means you get a brand new soundboard, a flawless pin block, fresh bridges, and a sparkling new action.
We are also proud to employ Colorados original 60,000 lb pneumatic soundboard press. Built by Master Piano Technician Marshall Luke, this press ensures that the soundboard we place in our pianos remains true to the original design standards at Steinway.
The greatest feature of our piano? Brand new Ivory keys. We are the only remanufacturing company that has their own supply of legal pre-ban ivory. This ivory creates the icing on the proverbial cake, and allows your instrument to be restored to perfect original condition.
Attention To Detail
At Luke Piano Company, there are a handful of people that work on your piano. Marshall Luke the master piano technician, Premier Refinishing, the master finisher responsible for the Steinway art case pianos; John Trefz,a 5th generation bridgemaker, and owner of the oldest piano shop in the United States; and David Warther, our authority on ivory. These Master Craftsmen are able to pay attention to every detail of your piano. When a piano goes to the factory, it goes through the motions. It gets sent down the assembly line and comes out the other end a partially rebuilt Steinway.
When you send your piano to us, we take care of every job ourselves. No part of your piano will be overlooked.
Better Than The Original
There are few companies in the world that are able to recreate piano soundboards. We pride ourselves on building each soundboard to the case of the piano it came from, making each of our soundboards a unique and uncopied piece of art.
We are able to create an exact replica of the original soundboard. This means we don't use off-the-shelf soundboard panels. We spend countless hours meticulously creating the perfect soundboard for the piano in which it goes.
