Born in Barrington, Illinois, Marshall came to Colorado at age 17, where he found employment with Villa Music. He soon found better employment with Bob's House of Music which he eventually owned. From there, he worked at Piano Warehouse Outlet in Downtown Denver, where he gained much experience and skill. In 1975, he started Keyboards Ltd. and moved to Littleton to his first shop on Curtis Street. Lacking business skills, and abound in poor judgement he soon obtained full time employment at Onofrio Piano Company on South Broadway, all while maintaining his own company. As head technician at Onofrio's, he built a fully functional piano shop, which included refinishing. He then opened his own shop where he spent 40+ years remanufacturing pianos.
Marshall Luke has enjoyed 51 years of piano tuning, service, rebuilding, and remanufacturing. He is well known amongst his collegues in Denver, as well as possessing a national presence.
